This new course explores workplace safety and employment laws. Learners will learn to
  • understand the rights and responsibilities of both employers and workers
  • identify and categorize common workplace hazards
  • recognize WHMIS pictograms
  • use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to solve hazardous situations
  • practice active listening and three-way communication skills
  • learn the laws and rights in the Employment Standards Act
